Life Goals

I worry about my boys focusing on career goals rather than life goals as they plan their educational journey. Having never thought myself about what I wanted in any sense other than to "be successful" (whatever that means), I didn't stop to consider the larger consequences of various small steps I took along the way. And while I agree that it is useless to stick to a single-minded plan since the world is changing every day, it certainly helps to think about what you want, so you can go after it.
